S2S Community Workshop
The Subseasonal to Seasonal (S2S) Community Workshop: Toward Minimizing Early Model Biases and Errors in S2S Predictions will be held June 5-7, 2024 in Boulder, CO.
The NOAA Weather Program Office funds research to improve weather forecasts, save lives, and reduce property damage. We work throughout the Weather Enterprise to foster research that can be transitioned into operational weather forecasts so the public can be better prepared for weather phenomena.
The NOAA Weather Program Office is reviewing proposals for two grant competitions with our FY24 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). This year’s NOFO is for three to six new projects that will total up to $2 million per year:
